Who I Am in Christ

I am a follower of Christ first and foremost, and from that identity flows everything else: a first-generation college graduate who understands the value of perseverance, a shy extrovert who finds energy in meaningful connections, someone who finds joy in simple pleasures like lattes and the beauty of both sunny and rainy days (because God makes them all beautiful!). I'm a researcher and academic, a teacher who loves investing in others, a writer who hopes to share truth and encouragement, a mother and wife .. this is where my heart blooms, and an outdoor enthusiast (but terribly afraid of heights!) who is sees God's handiwork in creation.

God's Faithfulness Through Every Season

God has been unwaveringly faithful throughout my journey, even when the path wasn't easy. My childhood had its share of challenges, but looking back, I can see how the Lord was weaving a story of redemption, growth, and purpose through every difficult moment. His goodness and faithfulness have been the constant thread through every season of my life.

Called to Serve in Education

For nearly 24 years, I've had the privilege of serving in education...a calling I believe God has placed on my heart so I can be changed through the impact of families, students, teachers and leaders and to influence and encourage others. I earned my Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership and Management from Regent University, where I was reminded daily that all true wisdom begins with reverence for the Lord.

I'm grateful for this opportunity to connect with you, and I pray that in some way, our paths crossing might be part of God's beautiful plan for both of us. Feel free to reach out...I'd love to hear your story too!
